Yavapai Lodge, Grand Canyon
The rooms might have been adequate about 50 years ago but they are primitive and "tired" as well as very small and uncomfortable.

This lodge was inside the park and just a short drive from the South Rim. Very adequate lodging if you're looking to stay inside the park and experience everything nearby!

Room was good but service wasn't
Everywhere so dark. I guess because in National Parks to keep natural as much as they could but so dark everywhere so we had little hard time to find our cabin and quite often got lost lol.
Room was quiet and large enough, heater wasn't too laud. It was little noisy when people were coming in and out because the door made laud noise otherwise, nice and comfortable.
Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet is NOT free, NOT cheap, NO discount for Lodge guests and NOT include drinks, Not much choice of foods, Not even let you take main foods yourself... I imagine they always been asked if buffet is free for guests but NO. NOT even discount for guests and these servers are NOT nice neither :( "So the breakfast buffet for Yavapai Lodge guests is NOT free. You have to pay at the kiosk out there" When I asked...
