Many issues! Provided incorrect check-in address. Dropped off at night in a country with large crime, totally exposed with our luggage until a neighbor told the address was wrong. Had to get taxi again to the right address.
Given incorrect keys for our unit, & one set was incomplete. They keys became an unfixed issue by host during our stay.
They don’t tell you on listing that air conditioning & lights do not work for up to 6 hours a day as they don’t have generators like hotels do. Unknown to us, this area has power outages almost daily. THIS SHOULD BE LISTED. Even the elevator stops working, and if you are in it. You are stuck!
When elevator stops working, u can no longer enter condo even from the front door. We were stranded outside with our kids in heat for an hour until host finally could get us in. All because there is no key for a top deadbolt that only locks from the inside. Not even host had key for this.
Never enough towels every day we have to ask for more to be brought back. One per bathroom, when u need 2 per bathroom. There is small pool but u have to ask for pool towels daily. The bed sheets are never tucked into the corners properly so they peel off during sleep because they are a complete size too small.
WiFi & TV went out, took them 2 days to fix, we had to spend money on data packages.
Also asked for my credit card number outside of VRBO messaging, in WhatsApp, a week after my stay. When they didn’t need it for anything associated with my stay.
