What an excellent location, with the friendliest and most solicitous staff in England! The English breakfast served in the hotel's pub was wonderful, including grilled tomatoes and even Eggs Benedict with the best Hollandaise in England. The only hiccup was the old plumbing, a noisy shower with no hot water.

The staff were excellent all very friendly and keen to help, happy to chat. They appeared to work as a good team. The place is a little tired but I understand that things are being done. The food was very good and the lunch was really good value. We met several regular customers while we were there which speaks volumes. Well place right next to the railway station and we found that did not make is overly noisy.

Arrived hotel is in a fantastic position in Bath. Was on a weekend spa weekend with friends. Bit disappointed to find out the lift was not working and our room was on the third floor of very steep stair case. Was apologized to about the lift and said waiting for it to be fixed. Got up the stairs to room. Good sized room for three very spacious. Was a bit of a musty smell when we got in the room. Only for one night so we could deal with it. Could have done with being aired before we arrived would have made a major improvement. Staff very good and. Helpful given instructions of how to get back in if after 11 which was no problem. Amazing fresh cooked breakfast and lots of choice. Only thing that let it down was by the lift as two of the party had mobility issues so may have been helpful to let us know in advance to give us the option to change rooms. Overall lovely hotel in amazing location.

Overall great stay and location was perfect! It took a while for the water in the shower to get hot, and the steam in the bathroom took a long time to dissipate. Air movement even with a window open was pretty stale, but the fan in the room helped. Very comfortable beds, and comfortable stay otherwise! Staff was fantastic, quick to help and answer questions!!

We had a lovely stay, close to the train station and walking around Bath city. Staff were very helpful and quite professional. Breakfast was served and a great choice. Being close to the station meant some late night noise, but nothing to spoil the stay. Parking is available but limited. I would definitely recommend this hotel to you!
