Hugely disappointing hotel
This was my 3rd visit to the hotel and it was hugely disappointing. Arrived at 12.00 and left luggage there. Returned at 16.00 and room not ready (should have been at 15.00!), had to move us to another room at 16.30 at my request otherwise we would have missed our dinner reservation, luggage not moved to room. Reception staff not really bothered, need training. Hottest day of the year, and aircon not working - it was 26 degrees, and room was right next to a massive external extractor fan. Asked 3 times before they did anything. I don't know if they're under new management, but the GM needs to do something as they'll be losing customers. Bar staff are superb, though, and breakfast staff excellent, plus good breakfast. For nearly £700 for 2 nights, this was definitely not value for money. We won't be returning.
