The oceanfront bungalows are just steps away from one of the best of Cairns northern beaches. This is exactly what we wanted - an escape from the busyness of life. The bungalows aren’t fancy but are clean and have everything you need for basic self catering. If you want 5 star, this is not for you - rather stay in Palm Cove. They are also part of the caravan site yet it’s very quiet and relaxing. If you love being right on the beach, getting up early to see the sunrise is amazing!

Beautiful location, however the cabins are showing their age and are due for a refurbishment. Self catering facilities are ok, but limited. Food at nearby cafe is not great.

Beachfront bliss
Family get together was wonderful. Beachfront waves lapping and close to netted area for swimming. Pool was lovely too. Great to have the Bar and Grill across the road for a yummy breakfast. Cabins were well equipped clean and quite spacious.

Beachfront paradise
Wonderful winter holiday. Oceanfront bungalow a couple of steps from the beach = fabulous! Bungalow old but clean. Staff friendly & helpful. Great value for money. Pool not heated but that didn’t stop anyone swimming in the pool but also in the sea (not stinger season). Short walk along beach to decent cafe/bar.

What a treat
Ellis beach was just gorgeous. Views incredible. Cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Staff pleasant and helpful. Walking distance to bar and grill across the road, great meals and friendly staff. If you want time away to relax, its a must.
