Enjoyable stay in Dover
Lovely room with a balcony and view onto the harbour, and the staff were very friendly. Lots of renovation work going on when we visited, which inevitably detracted a little from the experience. The breakfast buffet was fine without being exceptional. We enjoyed the stay, however, and would certainly go back.

Very happy with our stay, we traveled on the ferry late and arrived in Dover just before midnight, the hotel was very easy to find and only a very short drive for the ferry port, hotel was undergoing renovations and this was clearly sign posted in spite of this it was lovely inside and the to staff member on reception were extremely helpful and very accommodating, really great service. The room was fantastic!! 5 beds (which is so hard to get in lower budget hotels and we always struggle) very spacious room with comfort beds and great hot drink selection and even a fridge!. Bathroom was amazing very modern and clean with some great features and plenty of toiletries. Overall we are extremely happy with our stay highly recommended and will definitely be booking here again

We stayed here to celebrate my birthday and got upgraded to the presidential suite. The room was amazing and the bed was big and comfortable. My boyfriend really likes the cooked breakfast and the pastry’s were really nice too. The staff were friendly and polite. The only thing that was disappointing was the size of the lifts, they were extremely small, but this was a minor issue.

Noone answered only to be told we would have to come down and order & get it ourselves and it would be a 2 hour wait. This was the bar staff not the reception staff who did try to help me. Beautiful old building great balcony overlooking the bay room was exceptionally clean and it even had a heated bath towel holder and bathrooms, and a nice hot tub and sauna area

It was okay but not great.
Overall it was a nice stay, however there was a strong smell of ozone in the corridors, the deluxe room was very good, the tv was large and it had a sound bar. The sofa was located in the corner of the room so didn’t sit on it, the bed was a very comfortable firm memory foam. In the morning there was no hot water which affected all the rooms. The breakfast was okay buffet but the positioning of the food was cramped, so there was a lot of jostling about to get food and get back to the table.
