The hotel location is great, the suites are big & spacious, beds comfortable, and room has good views of the river. However, service is just not up to par. We booked 3 rooms for 3 night stay through Hotels.com. The room setup is unique – through direct entryways to 3 room sets. We were given 2 of the 3 rooms in 1 entryway & 3rd was separate even though it was all on same reservation. When we requested a move, the check in person told us rooms would be together if we had booked directly but since it was through hotels.com, we wont do anything to ensure they are together & can’t move things around now! Why offer reservation through 3rd party if treatment is different? Same thing for late checkout-we requested an extra hour for just 1 room-was told not possible since it was a 3rd party reservation. No one offered to help with luggage. Room cleaning: don’t expect room to be vacuumed, beds to be made, or if you leave empty paper cups/glasses anywhere to be thrown. Only cleaning is a cursory cleaning of the bathroom, towel replacement, and emptying of the trashcans. We deliberately dropped something on the ground on day 2 in the morning-was still there in the evening. There’s a coffee machine in the room, but regular pods were not replenished since they were “out”. The 3 stars are for the location, room size, and convenience.
