Stayed for 2 nights (Sept 24-25, 2024).
First day, when i entered the room, there was no available towel in bathroom, i have to request repeatedly. i had to go down to the reception twice for it, as there was no telephone directory on how to call the Reception/Room Service etc. i was dialing "0" but failed.
WORST was twice a guests managed to open my door even if im already inside and resting. First, a lady managed to open with KEY, then she was so sorry to find out room was already taken.
SECOND was when im already sleeping. A guy managed to open my room again and when i said it is already taken, he was so shocked and confused. It was HORRIBLE experienced. When i confronted the Lady Receptionist, why guests repeatedly managed to open my door, they replied it was a mistake in their SYSTEM. What if im out for tour and someone got inside with my THINGS!
Another worst exp was MY ROOM KEY failed to work twice. I have to asked the reception to fix it.
Also, i know it is not mandatory, even 3 star hotel im been too, they are providing WATER KETTLE to have a HOT Water drink coffee or tea. There was no COMPLIMENTARY BOTTLED Water, Coffee, SLIPPER.
It was worst IBIS Hotel. The only consulation is, it is near train station and medina and marina malls and sea side. other than that FAILED.
I will not recommend this hotel, Even the reception guy Mansour did not return my change although was only 7 dihrams, as promised.
