Everything was very nice and clean, the staff was great. However, in contrast to other fairly upscale city hotels we have stayed in, the sound insulation wasn't great. We were on the 7th floor and the street noise still really penetrated. I imagine rooms lower down would have been even worse. Scruffy neighborhood.

Great hotel and great location. Our suite was extremely well equipped with full working kitchen and overall was very comfortable. We were given a €25 credit each day to use in the bar/restaurant which we took full advantage of eating there both nights. The food and beer was delicious. Highly recommend the Champions Bar. The buffet breakfast was very good. Lots to choose from and all freshly made. We were also lucky that we were able to park outside the hotel using the street parking. Would certainly stay here again when visiting Austin.
