The property has one of the best views of the Lima coastline I've ever seen (I've lived in Lima all my life). The art in the house and outdoora is also precious to look at. These are the only positive things about this place. We stayed at the Mirador 1 (our third time in the last 6 years). Unfortunately, the hotel is worse each time we visit. More rundown and unkept. Most rooms, including ours, dont have AC (are you kidding me, in the summer?). When we arrived, our room had been left without ventilation and it was super hot, which showed very poor preparation by the hotel staff. The fan provided was very loud and the speeds were not working so it was either too much air or no air at all. Since it was warm, we also had to leave the balcony door open, but the sound of busy traffic doesnt let you sleep. The bathtub was nice, but the toiletries provided (one soap and a 3-in-1 shampoo on the wall) were terrible. The pool was very dirty, there are no places to seat or lounge next to it, there's a hole in the floor with a flimsy wooden sign that says "do not step".

Staying in this outstanding boutique hotel is like living in the best "one artist museum" located in a "GORGEOUS OLD TUDOR MANSION", Set on a cliff overlooking Lima's best beaches on the Pacific Ocean. Wow!!

    Hidden gem

This is my go to place when I stay in Barranco. It is tucked away at the end of the cul-de-sac, so it is close enough to everything, and far away from the noise and traffic. The place itself is a museum and worth checking out During your stay.

If you are passionate about art and want a relaxed home environment, this is the place for you. I cancelled part of my sight seeing plans for Lima and took more time to enjoy the art and read about Victor Delfin. There is much history and rich culture that Victor expresses in his art through various mediums. As a solo traveller I felt at home and enjoyed my conversations with Victor’s son Carlos. I was enriched by my stay at Second Home Peru. Many thanks and blessings to all the staff.

A very special place in Barranco. While it may not be a super fancy hotel with elevated amenities, the vibe/view/atmosphere make it all.

    Loved Delfin’s Home

It was the most wonderful be traveled various times to Lima after visiting the Sacred Valley. This time around, I chose this location not knowing what to expect. I have to say, it was by far the best choice to end our trip to Peru as we were able to relax at Delfin’s Bed & Breakfast. Loved the view from our balcony and as well the waves soothing us to sleep. It was so relaxing, my only regret is that I wish we were staying longer.

A charming, spacious 1911 Arts & Crafts-influenced home overlooking the Pacific, in the vibrant Barranco district, owned and lovingly operated by the family of Victor Delfin, a noted S. American artist. (Look him up!) His works, in different media from oil and pastel to metal and wood, are displayed throughout. You can meet him, still creating at age 93, and tour his studio on the lovely grounds. (NOTE to the cynical: there is no merchandising of artworks.) You will enjoy excellent breakfasts and service from the family and dedicated staff. You can pay a lot more for accommodations in Lima, but you cannot beat the experience here, We truly feel this is our 'second home' in Peru.
