Nice Holiday Stay
Pros - We stayed in a spacious King Jr. Suite overlooking the park with the lovely holiday lights as a backdrop to our stay. The location is nice for a close-in downtown experience, and the staff were friendly and efficient. For the most part, our stay was comfortable and really nice. Cons -The furniture is was a bit battered for the caliber of room we rented. Due to it's size, it seemed to have hosted a few recent parties (there was still scraps of crepe paper taped to the ceiling. Also, the room was furnished with way more lamps and fixtures than plug ins, so electrical cords were left draped across the floor. We had to play a little game of "where does this cord lead" every time we wanted to plug in a non-functional fixture. I would also mention that for as massive as the room and as well-designed for use, the bathroom in size and finish was a huge disappointment. Very tight and plain - a redesign is needed.

Quality, Comfortable, Walkable
Best hotel to stay in Vancouver WA. Actually walkable to the park and some restaurants and coffee shops in the quiet little downtown. Not far from the bridge to Portland or the airport and easy to get north or east to reach suburban Vancouver. Good food in Grey’s on the ground floor, comfortable and ample lobby space. Generally well maintained and appointed rooms. Feels like a real city hotel - a great find for a Vancouver.

Holiday travel
Friendly and helpful, yet often too busy! I suppose an increase in staff this time of year would be a good idea! The support staff (maid service) went above and beyond and the atmosphere was lively and inclusive. Safe journeys!

Appreciate the Professionalism
We were having a girls weekend! The room was perfect. As we were leaving, just as we closed our room door, I realized that I had left my coat hanging in the closet. Housekeeping attendant was in the hall, so I asked if she could open our room (since we had left our card keys in the room). She very apologetically declined and said we would need to go to the front desk. I was a little persistent, but she held firm. So...actually not a big deal, I went down to the front desk, showed my ID and went back up to grab my coat. I truly appreciate their policy and applaud the young woman who held firm to the Hotel's policy when it was absolutely apparent that we had just walked out of that room.

Nice City stay
Great customer service and a nicely updated hotel. We were on the street side so it was a bit loud w the traffic etc. Breakfast was adequate for a typical hotel spread. Lobby has been nicely furnished to creat a cozy comfortable atmosphere. Secure garage parking (for an extra $10) was a major plus so we didnt have to worry about the car overnight. Good stay

Nice hotel in good location
Nice room, really friendly staff. Only problem was we booked a two queen room, but were given a room with two full size beds. Front desk clerk insisted they did not even have full size beds in the hotel; we had to stand our ground and insist that they were NOT queen size beds, he finally called someone and discovered that accessible rooms had been renovated to full size beds and then he changed our room, but be aware that most of the accessible rooms have full size beds, not queens. Front desk staff should have been aware of that.
