The location was excellent as far as being close to attractions and subway trains. A big disappointment was the large amount of homeless people that live on 31st street which is right in front of this Hotel. Our next visit to NY city we will pick another location.

Room was clean but small. Was a bit challenging to walk about the room with luggage. Sink counter was cracked. No refrigerator or microwave (but was not advertised as having them). Toilet ran for a minute after flushing. TV was big and bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Complimentary breakfast was good. Location was excellent - easy walking distance to Madison Square Garden, Penn Station, Macys and the Empire State Building. Cheap garage parking almost directly across street. Price of lodging was good. Would stay there again.

Great hotel which i have used several times now. Only issue was the gym, the a/c was not working and as a result it was too hot and dangerous to work out in. Also nowater, the machine was broken, i complained every day to get this fixed but it wasnt dealt with. the gym was a big reason i chose this hotel so it was a dissapointment. Otherwise nice people and a good budget hotel in a convenient area.

This is our third time staying here and was a bit disappointed. Checking in took a very long time since there was only one host and a line of people waiting. He was very kind and apologized. During peak hours they should have two people up front. We had requested a fridge upon check in and by day 3 after speaking to many different people we finally got one that looked like it was picked up from the curb. The phone in the room did not work nor did the outlets by nightstand. The breakfast was not good. Items weren’t being replenished, one day of oatmeal and the rest there was none. Quite disappointing that even the fruit was not worthy of taking. It’s unfortunate because we only require a room to sleep and bathroom. Even then it will be hard staying here again. Location is great next to stores, church and restaurants.

This is a perfect location to lay your head after exploring all the City has to offer. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful, the staff was helpful, and rooms were clean. The location can't be beat - especially if arriving by train and/or planning to use the Subway. It's also incredibly walkable to many well-known tourist attractions. My stay was with all females and we felt very safe at this property.
