I like too much this hostel. Is a goof option if you will stay at Polanco area. The staff is really kind.

The hotel is quite modern looking and it's best quality is it's location, the rooms are rather small and ours was really hot during the day and had no AC But we rarely stayed for too long during the day, for the price it's a great place compared to the alternatives.

We booked this hotel for five nights and after the first night, we woke up without water. It was a Sunday, and the repair was not completed that day, so we decided to cancel our reservation and move to another hotel nearby. The front desk lady, however, was very supportive and communicative. And we got our refund a couple of days later. The hotel has an excellent location but receives very poor maintenance.

Cigarette Smoke from Outside Reached the Room
Very hot and uncomfortable in the room. Unsafe steps by the reception and entrance without a sign of caution. Often clean towels were not available. One small towel provided.

I was given a room that was infested with ants. The workers were very friendly and helpful. They did their best, and moved me to another room. However, that room also had ants. There is no air conditioning in the hotel. I stayed during a heat wave and the room was over 30 degrees celcius making it very hard to sleep. Something was wrong with the water system while I was there. I couldn't finish my shower because they shut the water off in the middle. I understand maintenance issues can happen but it would be good to provide advance notice if possible. Neighborhood is excellent. The staff is great, nothing bad to say about them at all. They just need to treat the building for insects, fix the water issues, and provide a solution for hot days.

An ant-infested furnace
I should've read the reviews rather than trusting that ANY hotel in the Polanco area would be of a certain standard. I stayed in one of the private rooms (no shared bathroom) on level 4, which the sun hits directly all day; it is a furnace in there with no air conditioning and a malfunctioning fan (takes 10 minutes to start!) that offers no relief from the disgusting heat. My iphone even displayed an overheating alert! The bathroom smelled of humidity, and ants came out of the shower drain. The shower itself flooded every morning. The ants were everywhere in the room, including the bed. The linen was stained, and there were long hairs everywhere. Yes, it was cheap, but this is unacceptable!

La atencion y la ubicacion son buenas pero hay mucho ruido de los mismos inquilinos y de recepcion y no se puede descansar a gusto. Deberian de poner una politica que después de las 10pm ya no se permiten fiestas o volumen alto en las habitacioned

Ubicación bien, mobiliario pésimo
Buena ubicación, pero muy deficiente la comodidad el colchón pésimo y es lo único que necesitas de un lugar donde solo dormirás. El servicio de limpieza del cuarto es cada tercer día, pusieron medio rollo de papel higiénico, no hay enchufes disponibles más que los de la TV, el drenaje de la regadera se tapa. Si quieres ubicación es perfecto las chicas muy amables pero no vas a descansar nada.

El departamento en muy mal estado, sucio, paredes sucias, humedades en el techo visible y no tratadas. Pedimos cobijas extras tres veces y nunca nos las dieron, pedimos almohada extra y no había. Tampoco tuvimos papel higiénico extra. Una de las habitaciones no está ventilada. La chica en recepción es atenta, solo que no se asegura de las peticiones de los huéspedes estén colmadas.
