Clean, convenient and comfortable
We stayed 1 night before catching a morning flight fro Hamburg airport. Hotel is a 2 minute walk from the platform for airport train departures. Literally across the street from the the station. Super convenient. Will definitely use this hotel again. The hotel building sèms to be quite old and decor in rooms is perhaps a little outdated but clean and in good condition. There was plenty of space and good hanging area. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom seemed quite new and spotlessly clean. Our room overlooked both road and station but very very little noise came into the room when the windows were closed. The hotel was very clean and pleasantly warm. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast started at 6 30 am so suited us as we had to leave atc7 15 am. Breakfast was excellent ' continental style 'with plenty of options. Breakfast room was blissfully quiet. This hotel is also very well placed for exploring the city. I felt this hotel gave excellent value for money.

A clean old place.
At $150 a night in late September it is expensive for an old and somewhat dilapidated venue. It was clean enough. The staff was friendly. I would not stay here again.

On the outside it gives the impression of a well kept property but the rooms and the interior in general could do with a lot of refurbishment. Breakfast is average, only the basics and pthe dining room is small and overcrowded at times. My room had an awful view to the backyard? and it was tiny. I was given a single bed although the ad said one twin bed which, as the staff explained, is one of two single beds!? The only advantage was that it was opposite the central station which made transport easy. On the whole, with 90euros per night it is not good value for money ...

Room was very spacious and clean. Not A/c, so you have to open the windows and hear all the traffic noise which is not good for light sleepers Hotel is old and decorations are outdated. Very convenient
Spacious family room, good breakfast, decor slightly dated but quite charming, nice high ceilings etc. The very convenient location opposite the station was also VERY noisy, especially at the front. The double glazing was surprisingly effective at blocking out most of the noise, but with the windows shut it was very hot and there was no air conditioning.
