The room was lovely and comfortable, but unfortunately despite advising of a late check in, when we arrived the hotel was locked, lights out and desk empty. We ended up calling the provided number and waited 10-15mins outside for someone upstairs to turn on the lights and come out to show us our room. They then advised us of the wrong breakfast times, so we missed the breakfast and but were provided with tea, coffee and toast. We did not receive an apology during our visit for the service. In communications since, the Assistant Operations Manager confirmed he waited for us, however his time leaving was at the time we arrived.
