Excellent location. Room was comfortable and clean. Good amenities. Breakfast was a bit manic. Not enough staff to seat guests, clear tables and replenish food. Would stay here again for a short break in Cardiff.

This was our 5th time staying here, the new play area is just fantastic. As always the staff are so helpful, the gym/pool is great and it's generally a great place to stay with a young family.

6/10 Good

Overall not bad, but wouldn’t return to this hotel. Guy on checking in didn’t really explain anything, I had to ask about parking and breakfast. Hotel is nice but rooms need updating. Pool was nice Location a good 20 mins walk from the bay Staff in bar and restaurant very nice.

8/10 Very good

Good place for a mid budget stay, fairly close to the centre (15 mins walk from station) , friendly reception and cafe staff, clean comfortable rooms (one bedside light not working Rm 257) a nice clean swimming pool and spa set up. Popular with families but not chaotic. We had breakfast outside - nice cafe in Trade Street 10 mins away. If you have time do a circuit walking the local ex industrial canals outside - part of old Cardiff Bay’s coal history.

8/10 Very good

Good Overall The staff were all very r helpful. The play area for kids was a great surprise. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was much better then I thought so good surprise again. The only downside is that the changing rooms for the fitness centre definitely needs some TLC. (Broken shower (as in the tap handle has completely fallen off), swimsuit dryer broken etc) but overall I would recommend especially if you are travelling with kids

Enjoyed our stay. Nice hotel, lovely friendly staff. Room size was good and beds were comfortable. The spa was lovely, clean and not busy. My only comment was that the room was quite warm and the climate system just didn't manage to cool it down.
