Room was exactly what we were expecting. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. James really went above and beyond to get us into our room early after my husband threw his back out the day before. It was much appreciated! He even went as far as to personally check to make sure the room was ready. It was that extra touch that really made the stay for me.

So glad we stayed at the HIE East I-75 by IHG in Sarasota. we originally started out at the Days Inn which was a disaster and the staff at HIE was so gracious and friendly and helpful. The room was great, the location was very convenient, and I couldn't ask for a better place to stay.

Our room #413 had an extremely loud AC unit. None of slept well. We were told that the maintenance personnel was gone and they were booked up and couldn’t move us. They also mentioned they knew about the AC issue. Not sure why the maintenance personnel was allowed to leave without fixing it. If you stay in #413 they will take your money and not fix the issue they know about!
