Muffiges in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, nie wieder
Dringend renovierungsbedürftiges Hotel, schwer in die Jahre gekommene Holzmöbel, dreckige Wände und Teppiche überall und das schlimmste war der muffige Geruch in meinem Zimmer, der mich hat nur 4h schlafen lassen. Frühstück war ganz ordentlich und der Service war auch ohne Beanstandung! Parkplatz war ausreichend groß und gute Anbindung zur Autobahn, dafür aber 15min Fahrt ins Zentrum von Weimar.

Sanierungsstau, sehr heruntergekommen
Leider ist das Hotel in einem Sanierungsstau bereits seit mehreren Jahren. Es ist ein Sanierungskonzept vorgesehen. Der gesamte Wellnessbereich ist extrem lieblos eingerichtet, teils auch ohne Funktion. Wohlfühlen kann man sich in anderen Häusern deutlich besser. Auch wurde die Sauna erst nach mehrfachem Nachfragen (während der regulären Betriebszeiten) gestartet, das Dampfbad allerdings gar nicht. Schimmel ist an vielen Stellen zu sehen. Auf dem Zimmer sind neben Schimmel auch Wasserhahn ohne Funktion, Toilettenspülung ist undicht, Lampen kaputt, Vorhänge zerschlissen. Haustechniker kann erst am nächsten Tag kommen, um die grundlegenden Mängel zu beheben. Das Essen und der Service in Bar und Restaurant sind in Ordnung, stellenweise sogar überdurchschnittlich. Vielleicht ist nach der Sanierung das Haus wieder einladend, aktuell ist ein Besuch dort nicht anzuraten.

Unser Reservierung (Zimmer für 2 Erwachsene und ein Kind 15 Jahre) ist nicht im Hotel angekommen. Dort hatte man die Information, dass 2 Erwachsene und ein Baby kommen. Ein Zustellbett konnte uns nicht zur Verfügung gestellt werden, so dass wir ein zweites Zimmer buchen mussten, das extra Kosten verursacht hat. :-(

Wir (1 Erw, 2 Kinder) haben das Hotel als Zwischenstop genutzt und waren begeistert. Das Mobiliar ist in die Jahre gekommen, ABER der Service ist top, das Personal sehr nett, die Essensportionen abends à la carte großzügig und das Frühstücksbuffet hat eine tolle Auswahl. Die Parkplätze sind laut Schildern videoüberwacht, einen schattigen Platz zu bekommen war kein Problem. Der Pool war das Highlight für die Kinder. Wir können es definitiv weiterempfehlen!

Bei der Check in habe ich gefragt, ob im Zimmer Tee und Kaffee gibts, aber mir würde gesagt nein oben gibts nichts und ich muss von der Restaurants mir Getränke holen. Nach dem Kauf war ich oben und das gleiche Tee gabs auch for free. Was ich schlecht finde.
