They remodeled the Pool and installed a jacuzzi, but most importantly for Mexico City’s weather, the water is kept warm enough for kids to use the pool day or night. The gym was also remodeled recently and is very nice.

We loved our stay at Dominion Polanco. The people are very nice and helpful. The rooms are spacious with living room and dining room.You can walk to many dining options around. There is a park and theater across the street. The area is very safe. Women walking their dogs at night and jogging alone. We would stay here again if we return to Ciudad de Mexico

Dominion Polanco is a hidden gem in a very nice neighborhood. I took my wife and 2 kids for a 4 night stay in a 2 bedroom 2 bath suite. The spacious open concept living room, dining room, and kitchen are beautiful with modern appliances. Having a washer and dryer in the suite made it easy for us to pack light and have fresh clean clothes when we needed it. The rooms were very clean and quiet and comfy. My kids slept very well in their twin beds considering they usually don’t sleep well in unfamiliar beds. The bathrooms were very nice and plenty of hot water. The complimentary hot breakfast each day helped save time and kept us well fed before starting our days of exploration. I would not recommend renting a car since most of Mexico City’s streets are VERY busy and parking is difficult. We used Uber to get everywhere we needed to be. The security was excellent with a doorman letting us in very quickly and kindly. The heated pool and jacuzzi were plus because my kids love swimming and it was nice to soak in the hot tub after a long day of walking. Restaurants and shops are walking distance (less than 15min). Museums and parks are a short uber ride away. Overall I would highly suggest Dominon Polanco for any type of travelers from couples, friends, and families. If we ever return I would definitely stay there again! 10/10!

The rooms are apartments. Enormous two-bedroom, two-bath, eat-in kitchen, etc. if would be great for a long-term work location. The services, however, are fairly limited. Breakfast options poor.

Staying in Dominion
We like staying at Dominion but it need a little care. Thing are getting old and need s replacing and a more friendly staff. The lady that makes the breakfast is extremely unfriendly and overall it needs a friendlier and more helpful staff.

unfortunately, while we were leaving we were not allowed to simply check out, they locked the door and held my family and I for 10 minutes in the lobby as security and akwardly gazed at one another ( missing our airport Uber) until they checked our room for missing items. It was unnecessary and embarrassing as we are customers, not hostages 😞

Disappointing
Disappointed on several levels. Only the bedrooms had AC. Living room and kitchen very stuffy. Couldn’t open the windows out of fear of flies coming in. Pool and exercise room was being worked on thus unable to use. Breakfast was limited and it was the same everyday. A little bit of variation would help. Additionally , we had booked for a whole week and had an emergency back home and left 3 days early. They were unwilling to refund us and told us to try thru Hotes.com and even when we did, they refused the refund.

Never staying here again and advising everyone I know against it. From the second we walked in, we received the furthest from a warm welcome. The hotel is run by security guards and kitchen staff. The kitchen staff was horrible - we got in during early hours and they had just put breakfast out. We asked if we could take some fruit and pastries back to the room to feed the kids and the lady wouldn’t even look at us. She simply waved no at the security guard and spoke under her breath appalled at the request. As we were on our way out the following morning, we sat to grab a quick bite to eat and she called over the security guard to tell them they weren’t set up yet so we couldn’t sit down. The buffet was fully stocked, but chose to leave and dine elsewhere. Our keys stopped working so we had to ask a security guard to be let into our room every time we needed access. The water temperature wasn’t regulated. Toilets were clogged. The inciting on the cake was on our final day as were waiting for a driver to take us to the airport, we had multiple cancellations due to a marathon in the city which we had no clue about. Instead of offering to assist, the security guards asked to do a final walk through of the room, said they couldn’t help with transpiration due to the street closures, watched us struggle to find transportation while carrying 4 suitcases and 2 kids down the stairs without any help before closing the gates on us. Horrible experience.
