The room was just what we needed, clean and good amenities with great air con. The room was serviced daily. Comfy bed, and reasonable amount of space for a room in NYC. Complimentary water and wine when you arrive.
The breakfast was very good, we were expecting a croissant and a coffee, but got a lot more than that. Plenty of fruit, yoghurt, pastries, meat & cheese, cereal, and a changing selection of a few hot items each day.
All the rooms are accessed via stairs or lift, both easy to get to (you just need your room card to swipe).
The location is great for the subway, with the station right outside the hotel. Lots of things easy walking distance too.
The hotel restaurant is also very nice for dinner with a good selection and a nice rooftop dining area on the 2nd floor.
The only downside of the room was how dark it was. The view looks out onto a wall and you can't see much daylight because of this. This really didn't help with jetlag, but fairly common in a lot of NYC hotels.
