The best things about this hotel are the location and the staff. The staff across the hotel is incredibly kind and welcoming - kudos to them for making your guests comfortable. The midtown location is perfect for getting to major landmarks and theaters and still is quiet in the evenings. The hotel itself missed the mark for a couple big reasons: it was really disappointing that the restaurant/bar were closed without prior notice to the guests and the rooms were a total miss - the concrete/metal decor made it feel more like a jail cell than a comfortable room. The shower also ran throughout the night for no reason which was annoying to hear.

Rooms and lobby need air fresheners. Rooms were decently clean. Bathtub was visibly damaged. No microwave. No ice machines (have to go to the front desk.) Closet space in NYC is usually limited but this closet was extremely small. They have tons of lobby space but no bar or proper utilization of the space. The elevators sounded like (and felt like) they were going to break at any point. Sure enough, one of the elevators went out of service during the stay… to no surprise. If the cost was $200-300 per night, then it’d make sense. At over $700-800 per night, an absolute disappointment.
