Next to Taj Mahal! Cool place for sunrise visit

Ideal to visit the Taj Mahal in the morning for sunrise. Arrived the evening before, nice room and we enjoyed the bar. Nice live music and good cocktails. We also tasted the restaurant and it was really good, the India restaurant, not the international cuisine one.

In general a great property I booked two rooms for a family trip In one room, the tv didn’t work. In the second, the cups were dirty as was the tea kettle. When we called the front desk they hung up. This was only resolved by going to the front desk and asking for a manager Food from another room sat in the hallway all night In general a poor experience

Staff was very helpful. Rooms need some updating. Food was quite spicy and they had difficulty toning it down for foreigners. Ended up eating pasta or elsewhere at times. Very close to the Taj Mahal so that was nice. Could not see it well from the roof bc of the smog. More mosquitos than I had seen elsewhere.

The service is always exceptional at this hotel. The staff are friendly and very helpful… I personally find the food options in the hotel really good too. Breakfast is tasty and don’t miss out on the Peshwari restaurant. The grounds of the hotel are always well looked after and clean. My only comment would be the gym could do with a freshen up and maybe better AC.
