Phaselis Beach is where you can go on an excursion and combine history with nature. Set among the ancient port city of Phaselis that was founded in 7th century BC, Phaselis beach consists of 3 natural harbours (central, north and south) with refreshing crystal-clear waters. Though the south harbour is the largest and most visited as it comes with public toilets and showers, it often doesn’t get too crowded.

A mix of sand and pebbles, the semicircular coastline is fenced by pine trees that provide shade from the sun, with ample space for sunbathing and a picnic. To get to Phaselis Beach, you’d have to walk past the ancient city ruins. There’s a one-time entrance fee to Phaselis and its beaches.

    Alacasu of Paradise Cove

Feast your eyes on this natural wonder

Alacasu of Paradise Cove, with the Beygladari mountains and pine forests as its backdrop, is a beautiful 175-metre-long cove situated between Phaselis and Camyuva. Despite the lack of hotels, the beach is very popular, especially with locals who enjoy camping, swimming, sunbathing or picnicking on weekends.

Strictly nature only, the usual beach facilities are unavailable here. But if you can charter a yacht for the day, you can answer the calls of nature in comfort. Accessible via boat trips, you’ll see some yachts moored on the bay. If you decide to go snorkelling, you might just catch a glimpse of some sea turtles underwater. We recommend coming to Alacasu of Paradise Cove on weekdays. Bring some water along with you to stay hydrated under the summer sun.
