Cool prison hotel with great history
Super cool Hotel, its an old prison. very clean, very good breakfast, super confy beds. the doors are extreemly small since its the original doors for the prison cells. The staits in the middel of the hotel is low so you can hit your head. Rooms have very high celings. very comfy, cool history, great location.

This website informed me that the room had its own bathroom when in fact it was communal S was the shoer. Aside from that everything was nice clean and the fact that the hotel originally was a prison added to its charm.
The restaurant had some weird sculptures of prison guards etc.

Prisvärt boende med bra läge
Små rum med enklare standard, helt och rent. Mycket prisvärt. Fint med utsikt mot Vänern. Rummet bokades som enkelrum men hade en 140-säng med dubbla set med sängkläder, så man hade utan problem kunnat sova två i rummet. Fin frukost med olika sorters bröd, pålägg, yoghurt, müsli, kaffe, juice, frukt etc. prydligt upplagt i matsalen på morgonen. Minus för ljudmiljön. Rumsdörren saknade i princip all form av ljuddämpning - varje gång någon öppnade eller stängde en dörr i korridoren (vilket hände ofta) hördes det nästan lika tydligt som att det var min rumsdörr som smälldes igen. Dessutom går ett "alarm" igång varje gång man håller håller upp nyckelkortet mot låset, för att visa att den var upplåst. Öronproppar är ett måste om ni inte sover tungt.

Kort stopp på genomresa. Sen ankomst löste sig, bra service. Hela stället en upplevelse! - med hela fängelsemiljön och de små cellerna med fräscha, sköna sängar. Varma rum i vinterkylan, dock lite kallt i duschar. Trevlig frukost.
