We recently stayed at the Hyatt at Ocean City, MD and, while the location and beach view were fantastic, there were several issues that affected our stay. The hotel is in a prime spot with a beautiful view, but unfortunately, the property is quite old and in need of maintenance.
Room Issues: The sink in our room was not functional, and despite notifying staff, no one came to address the issue during our stay.
Elevator Out of Service: The elevator was down during our visit, and we were not informed about this in advance. This created significant inconvenience, especially as we were traveling with a family member who has severe mobility challenges.
Accessibility Concerns: Due to the elevator being out of service, my daughter, who is severely handicapped, was unable to join us for breakfast in the dining room, making the experience even more difficult for our family.
We have stayed at other Hyatt locations and have always been satisfied, but unfortunately, this property did not meet the usual standard. I hope that the management can address these issues moving forward to ensure future guests have a better experience.
