I liked the look and feel of the property. I give it 4 stars for its unique flare. The onsite restaurant was very good for breakfast and reasonable priced, but maybe a tad slow when its really busy. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars, was a funny odor upon entering the room, and the pillows are too soft and I found them uncomfortable and had a hard time getting settled, but thats a personal preference. The check-in person did not greet us and wasn't overly efficient or friendly in providing information. I felt i was the one asking everything instead of him informing me of amenities.

The room was clean and spacious. The kids loved the playground. The only complaint I have is that the restaurant was not open. The tavern was very busy. So we had to leave the property for dinner. We will definitely be back to stay here again. Hopefully next time we can try the food without such a long wait.

A unique property, but we had major problems with the TV. Despite 2 visits by maintenance, the volume of the TV could not be turned up to an audible level, and the TV could not be turned off except by unplugging it. Also, the pocket door separating the two sections of the bathroom was extremely difficult to close and open. Note: there is no included breakfast. You must pay for it.
