Fabulous Stay
In town on part business part pleasure. First time staying here but may not stay anywhere else on future trips. The hotel was absolutely wonderful. Everyone was extremely helpful and happy to do so. From the valet, whom i did not need, but the young lady was very helpful and knowledgeable about the city, to front desk staff and coffee shop personnel. It has been a very very long time since i was this impressed with any business. The property is beautiful. I loved the fact that we could sit outside our room on the balcony and have a coffee or a drink and watch the sun rise or set. We will definitely be back.

Loved Savanna and The Desoto
First visit to Savannah with my daughter who has been away and loved our visit. Hotel is very pretty and nicely decorated for the holidays. Food was excellent and room and view from 10th floor was amazing of the city. Front desk and concierge were very helpful with information on places to see and ways to get there. Hotel is dog friendly and was nice to see all the friendly dog tails wagging. Our room did not have any dog odors so they must have certain rooms for them. First time on Savannah and if I come back I would definitely come back to The Desota.

Nice hotel, centrally located. Friendly staff, food in restaurant was good. Dinged for a few minor annoyances such as poor water pressure in shower, (also just lukewarm on a couple mornings) and spotty servicing of rooms. Overall nice hotel and would recommend.

Beautiful but thin, very thin walls.
Beautiful inside, outside looks like it could use a power wash. Close to walk everywhere in the area. The only downside, which was major is the thin walls. Omg, we heard regular volume conversations next door. I could hear their sink and toilet flushing, coughing and again regular tone conversation.

Perfection
This was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in and I've travelled all over the world in my past 60 years. The room was nice and the bathroom was designed like my own home with the exact same marble. I was greeted by the valet , Charlie, who was nice and gracious. The front desk was equally nice. What made this exceptional is the team out front that greeted us, remembered our names and in gentlemanly fashion, opened the doors. I've stayed at the encore in Vegas but I liked this better. The service made this an experience rather than a visit. Before and after dinner, visit the bar. The staff is fantastic. They gave us perfect recommendations and we followed their advice. Also visit the concierge to learn what bus tour to take. Again, perfect advice. It doesn't get better than this hotel.
