Simple and quiet stay
Holiday trip to visit family. Friendly,clean,family hotel. Quiet,pet friendly,lots of room to walk the dogs, had picnic table and charcoal grills, which I would use if I stayed again in warmer weather months. We had a simple,double bed room, with a desk,charging station,TV, fridge, microwave,coffeepot.I accidentally locked us out of our room when the door closed behind me upon checking in. The key had been left for us at the office in an envelope, as we arrived after office hours,and just be aware, the office is not staffed 24 hours, so I checked at the restaurant / bar next door, and they contacted someone who came and let us in. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

I chose this motel, as it showed 9.4/10 rating. As other reviewers said, there is no reason for such rating. The room was clean, but that's it. Small window with little lights inside. Very basic motel, with probably 6/10, just for cleanness. Not sure how the 9.4 rating was produced.

Great room for an affordable price
Older, family owned motel. The room was clean and had lots of furniture. There was a rocking chair, 3 upright chairs, a small dining table, a long series of wooden furniture. There was also a coffee maker, microwave, fridge and iron, ironing board. It has everything needed to live here for a few days. It was a good value.

This hotel was super cute and the staff was an amazing. We arrived lately than we planned and they waited for us and then the next day when we went to check out I forgot something in the hotel room and they got it back to me before I even realized I forgot it. The lady even ran out in the rain to give it to me.

I visit this area annually and the first time I stayed here was alright. This time I reserved a room with two beds. My bed, to my surprise and disgust, had little bugs that started to jump on me after a couple of minutes laying there. I checked the corner of the sheets but didn’t find anything to lead me to think there would be a problem. Fortunately the other bed, that my daughter was sleeping in, seemed bug free. I was very disappointed and hope not to encounter something like that in the future.

The reception was very pleasant. The room was dated but clean. There was a bar/restaurant next door but no noise overnight. I would suggest a new mattress though. It was pretty hard and I didnt sleep well. Aside from that, no issues and I would recommend.

The breakfast was extremely basic. I booked this place because it had a rating of 9.4. It did not come up to that rating or our expectation.

Great
Very nice little hotel for a night or an extended stay!! Owners DO NOT rent to locals, keeping out the riff-raff, making the stay more enjoyable. Restaurant next door is quite good, and you get a 10% discount for showing your room key.
