The property's location is perfect for spending time in New Hope. About 15 min away from downtown New Hope by foot, it makes spending evenings at the restaurants and bars in New Hope very easy, and same with shopping in the daytime. The trail that is right outside of the hotel is perfect for walking dogs, running or taking a bike ride. The only disappointing factor about the hotel are the bugs that are right outside of it because of it proximity to the water. It's certainly to be expected to an extent, but I would hope that there is an investment the property could make in eco-friendly bug repellent so that guests who have rooms with balconies can actually enjoy those balconies, or guests dining at the restaurant do not get assaulted by bees (happened to us on another occasion where we dined here, not just this time when we stayed overnight). Otherwise, it's a wonderful property, the decor is fantastic, and the restaurants and bars, both on property, as well as the ones in New Hope, contribute to a lovely getaway.
