My son and I stayed here for 4 nights over the half term holidays. It's not exactly a kid entertaining hotel. Mainly couples adults friends type perhaps business.
Location is good as walking distance to Duomo. Good transport links outside the hotel in terms of trams. you can get a direct tram to San Siro stadium and back I think its number 16. We were placed on the 2nd floor so could hear the tram noises. ground is reception, 1st is breakfast and meeting rooms I think. 2 - 9 I think is rooms and 10th is the room and restaurant.
I found that housekeeping is a little hit and miss. some days done well other days the very basic, didn't top up milk sachets, I had dust around the room and no finishing touches that like says wow. You experience this in other hotels and it's a nice touch that goes a long way. Seeing that they know I am travelling with my son, a little chocolate/ sweets would have been nice considering the amount they charge for the room.
Breakfast was nice, but be warned they charge for omelettes, friend eggs, poaches eggs, eggs Benedict, porridge and energy boosting juices. this is a little shocking and disappointing. they has scrambled eggs, bacon, halal chicken sausages. I don't know why they didn't offer beans of vegetables or friend tomatoes/ mushrooms. but for what your paying disappointed with breakfast hot selection. No change every day is the same.
Location great, staff friendly. would I stay again not for what I paid.
