What an amazing little hotel! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like we were friends returning home, the wonderful staff were so helpful and caring. The location was very well positioned for most of the places we wanted to visit and close to a vast array of restaurants. We had a river view room which was beautiful with a balcony overlooking the Douro. All in all the hotel was a tranquil oasis to return to after the bustle of the city. We will definitely be making a return visit!

Very very good location. Christiana was so accommodating. Even carried my luggage down the stairs to store as check in started at 3:00 and we were early. Had a good breakfast while waiting. Nice sitting area.

We had a wonderful time staying here! It’s a beautiful boutique hotel well cared for by the cheerful people working there. They are all wonderful! We had room six, which overlooks the water and it’s one of my favorite hotel rooms we’ve ever stayed it! We highly recommend! They offer a glass of wine or beer each night and welcome donuts. location is perfect! I would recommend this place and room number six. Thanks.

Armando met me after my long travels from America and helped me with my bags. I was offered free complimentary port wine and a snack! The hotel was very vintage and lovely. Every employee was extremely kind and friendly. They offer free breakfast each morning including eggs and bacon along with breads, fruits, yogurt, fresh squeezed orange juice and coffees. This was the best place I’ve ever stayed and it had great views on the water!!!!

Room small but very clean and had everything needed. Shower and sink in the bedroom so not ideal for friends sharing. Staff pleasant. A little difficult to find entrance. Adorable historic boutique hotel! Recently renovated with a fantastic location on the Duro river and a nice breakfast. Be aware… the property is NOT staffed after 10 pm. So check in earlier than that. We checked in late in the day and needed to wait outside for the staff member to come to the property. We were a little thrown off by that. Think of it like a cross between a boutique hotel and an AirBnB! Once she got there we settled in and had a great experience. Staff during working hours is very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

What a lovely small hotel. Bruna was incredible, best service one could imagine. Room 4 looked out over the river with a sweet balcony and an so comfortable bed. Great breakfast and wonderful location as you can walk to most places. Cannot recommend it enough.

This property is right on the river in an excellent location near lots of great restaurants, shops and excursions. The room was just as described, the bed was comfortable and the view was wonderful. The staff were great and the breakfast was very good. We had a few glitches at no fault of the property and they took responsibility and made our stay pleasant as possible. The parking is difficult in this area so if you can arrive without a car, that is best. We highly recommend it.

Do not book this one. The staff was amateur and did not even know the price of the hotel. I was almost overcharged. The aircon is down and the hotel used temporary one which was inconvenient. The service was slow to response. The customers waited so long to have the answer for simple questions.
