Not a bad stay. This is an older property but for the price and location, was a good stay. Our room was nice, we were comfortable and it served the purpose. My only disappointment was not being able to actually see the ocean in our “oceanfront” room because the dunes have gotten so high they block the view.

Overall this was a great place for what it was. For a great price I had a room that was comfortable and right on the water. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly so I never had to worry about anything. You are right in the middle.of Nag's Head so it doesn't take long to go anywhere. The only.negatives would be the size.of the bathroom, which honestly is fine for a motel it's not like I'm in their forever but the shower itself was right with mid water pressure. Also the in room coffee maker didn't work. I tried it once and then didn't really care I never even ordered coffee when out so it was more just a thing then a real issue. I would without a doubt stay here again.

The owner was so friendly and accommodating! We needed to leave a day early due to storms headed our way and he was happy to refund us our last night. All staff was friendly and brought us towels daily! The front office has everything you need should you run short, and a kiosk in case you lock yourself out of your room and need a new room key (my husband found that useful when he locked himself out in the middle of the night). Overall a wonderful stay and right on the beach and next door to the fishing pier (which has 2 restaurants on it).
