Plaza Paitilla Inn has been a family favourite for many years. We always have a comfortable stay and the staff are so helpful and accommodating. Reminds me of the exceptional service that used to be the stabdard many years ago. Highly recommend.

Very nice hotel.
Breakfast was excellent. Location is excellent. Service was excellent. The room had a window that would not close properly, and it was noisy at night. I had to use a napkin to force it closed. And the air conditioner blew the same temperature air no matter the setting, and it blew right onto the bed which was uncomfortable. Not enough towels.

The good: staff were mostly friendly, and the breakfast was amazing! The bad: our first room- the door handle broke off. They moved us. Second room:gross. The hand towel had a giant yellow booger smeared on it, there was poo down the front of the toilet, and lipstick stains on the wall.

Short stay for sightseeing
A good value 3/4* hotel in a very central location, very handy for exploring the city. It was clean and the staff ok; I say this because very few of them understand any English at all, but they make an effort to assist. Our very spacious room hard a nice view (skyscrapers and bay) and had a mini fridge and remotely controlled curtains. The complimentary buffet breakfast is good and plentiful, but hardly any vegetables like we're used to in Europe. Another great plus is the 1pm check out time. However they don't provide shower gel like many hotels around the world do, just little tablets of soap; we had to use our own. The shower door doesn’t close property, just slides open as there's nothing to keep it shut. There's some noise from the road and during our stay there were parties with loud guests who had little consideration for other hotel guests, talking loudly in the hallway early hours of the morning. However I would definitely recommend the hotel (for the right price).

A Gem of a Hotel
Plaza Paitilla was our home away from home for three days/nights of exploration of the glittering financial district of Panama City. VIEWS, VIEWS! We were given an upper floor, bayside with sweeping views of the coastline. The king room was spacious, the HVAC system surprisingly quiet (given that we needed A/C 24-7), and the staff--especially dining personnel--exceedingly helpful. Being on the ocean side of the major coastal thoroughfare was a bonus in terms of noise and open spaces as well. Highly recommended!

Excelente staff
The staff was amazing and always helpful and friendly.... The breakfast buffet was great and well done! The hotel is a bit old but pretty well maintained.... Bed was really nice!!! Showers could have hotter water and more pressure.. But again... The staff was amazing!! Thanks guys for making our trip a pleasure!!
