We stayed in the updated Marvel room and it was nice and well-themed. It has a small fridge and a hot water maker (that’s kind of a hot mess) for coffee or tea. The Avengers slippers were a fun addition. The bed was on the firm side, but still okay. We had to ask for a few extra pillows, which were quickly supplied. They send you an email saying they don’t offer travel shampoo/soap/conditioner anymore, but that you can buy some - they even stated this at the front desk at check-in. What they didn’t say was that they still have all of those items available in the room, they’re just the kind that have to stay in the shower/counter, so buying any isn’t necessary. They are even kind enough to provide bug spray outside at the park shuttle area. Speaking of the shuttle - it comes often and is very convenient. The two restaurants on site are good. We had breakfast at the buffet (and got to see Chef Goofy) and dinner at the Archivist (Marvel themed atmosphere and food and drinks). Food at both was good.
Overall we’ve been very pleased with our stay and I would put the hotel on par or higher with any mid-level hotel at any Disney park.
