Chose the hotel because of the good reviews and I was not disappointed. We were 8 males on a Rugby trip and stayed from Friday to Sunday. From the moment we walked in we loved it,the building is beautiful and old fashioned. The proprietor was very friendly. The twin rooms were excellent with plenty of space. The lift however was the slowest lift in the world, but at least it worked. All the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was €11 extra, but very much worth it,with all the continental staples of croissants, bread, pastries, yogurt, fruit, cheese and meats. There was fresh orange juice, you could watch the machine juicing the oranges! Tea and coffee was table service.
Location is great, just a stone's throw from the main town square.
