It's a get what you pay for hotel
We checked in at 3:30 with the gal at the front desk. Fairly easy, credit card, id, sine.
We got our keys then unloaded our car went to our room and we were not sure if it was ready. After a minute or two housekeeping came back in and said she was still cleaning. I went downstairs, knocked on the night window twice the other clerk was there, knocked a 3rd time when he finely acknowledged me. He said give her a few minutes. Gave her another 4 to 5 minutes then my husband went to ask her how long, she said at least another hour. I went back to the night window and asked for another room but said hid not have one comparible. So we packed up and went and did some shopping. We were gone an hour and decided to go back. By this time it was 5:15, housekeeping still was not done. Apparently, staff did not tell her the room was booked and she saved it for last. After a 4 hr drive this is not the hiccups we wanted. Room was 'upgraded' but very close attention was paid to the whole room. Flimsy bedside tables
