Great overnight stop
The hotel staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Our initial room did not have heat and after a check by the maintenance engineer they quickly moved us to another room after making sure the heat was working in that one. We ate at the restaurant and had a great tasting meal with more great service. Definitely the place to stay in Spartanburg.

High price poor quality
High price for poor quality. No complementary breakfast or even complementary water stations to fill up a bottle. Not even complementary coffee or tea (if you want coffee you can BUY starbucks in the lobby). You also have to pay extra for internet!! You can pay half the price and stay at any other hotel with more updated and comfortable rooms and all those things included. The staff was nice and changed my room because the door latch was broken and the heat was broken in the first room. I dont know what the appeal is for a Marriott unless you are just blowing your money for status. There are so many better options dont waste your money

Lovely stay - needs updating.
Everything was wonderful. We were given a handicapped equipped room, which had a small shower and a short vanity. Would have preferred a different room. Also, the shower head would not stay stationary, so we had to hold it to shower. All in all, the hotel needs updating, but we would stay there again.
