Just ok
No airport shuttle if you book through Expedia/hotels.com, which is quite annoying. Checkin was ok, the room is very dated, the shower heads all need changing and spray everywhere. The toilets in the public bathrooms by the pools are more often than not plugged/wont flush, and the urnals are full. The gym is quite nice, resort pools and gardens are nice. There are no real activities to do at the resort or pool other than volleyball and aqua exercise. The bistro food was decent, the buffet was just ok save for the tacos which were great and the morning omelettes were good. The buffet service was good overall but you’ll get better service with tips obviously. The poolside service was atrocious but I think it depends on where you sit. The beach isn’t very nice, the sand is dark, the shores are rocky and dangerous to swim in. Would I come back, probably not. They need a serious upgrade here.

Beautiful Resort
This place is hands down the nicest resort in Mazatlan. Check in was great, and was able to check in early. The room was very big and beautifully appointed. The all inclusive includes several restaurants with very good food. There is also a bar called "Kellys" which had very good drinks and live entertainment. But the best thing of all were the grounds, I have no idea how they keep them up .. b ut they were the best I have seen in any resort.

Excelente hotel
Fue una buena experiencia. Es un hotel muy lindo y agradable. Tiene mucha vegetación. Habitaciones grandes, camas cómodas. Se ve que tiene sus años, sin embargo, es muy cómodo y se encuentra en excelentes condiciones. Las habitaciones tienen detalles anticuados, tal vez podrian hacer una remodelacion, aunque el estilo del hotel, no es contemporáneo, asi que tampoco es que este mal. Los carritos tardan en pasar. Es pedirlos con mucha anticipación. La comida esta bien. Pero en mi opinión falta variedad. Algunas bebidas estaban muy dulces, pero eso yo creo es percepción muy personal.

Accommodation (fixtures, fittings, and furniture) are dated and need an update - not 4* standard for sure. Cleanliness was good/very good though. Great main pool area with a great pool food/drink service (Roberto is the man!). Beach was good for a 30 min morning stroll/jog. Resort lacked any evening entertainment/activities so catered for those wanting a more sedate holiday. It was certainly too quiet for us and we don’t consider ourselves party animals; but a little something in the evening would have been nice. The lack of the advertised shuttle service to sister resort was disappointing and meant you were isolated to a degree. Overall we enjoyed our stay but not quite enough to return.
