It’s fine.
It was ok. Cheap. Old. Not unexpected and appropriate for the price.

Central and affordable
We used the accommodation as part of participating in the Sydney Marathon. The rooms were basic, but clean. It is an old building and the rooms are located on the 3rd and 4rd floors of a very busy pub. If you are noise intolerant this is not the place for you. There is a function room on the 2nd floor that hosted functions during our stay. We were on the third floor. The windows in the rooms were not soundproof. Pub crawlers became noisier as the evenings progressed. On the plus side, you are close to all public transport and restaurants. You are also walking distance from all the main tourist attractions. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and attended to on a daily basis. If you are looking for affordable accommodation but don't mind the business of the city and noise of the pub we can recommend this accommodation.

The facilities are quite dated and basic. It takes at least 5 minutes to get hot water to the 4th floor. The bed is lumpy. The a/c did not work. Entry is they a pub that can be quite crowded.

You get what you paid for. A very nice location that is close to everything. Being above a bar and a main road there are is noise, which is expected and beyond the the accommodation's control. My only annoyance is the person next door was a bit noisy and the lift was a bit loud beinf next to my room. Still slept well and felt safe.

Cheap beer at happy hour. Patrons were very respectful. Steak for dinner was exceptional. Definitely stay there again. Plus central to trains.

The price was good & location. Room was reasonably comfortable. My only complaint was noise from underground club across the road. The security(5) men stood out the front talking and laughing late into the night. Being a Sunday morning I didn't notice any road traffic noise. We loved the pub downstairs had good priced beverages.

Good value
The lift wasn’t working which sucked as I was on the top floor. Very basic but everything was clean. The shared bathrooms were clean and had good water pressure. They are also private and not far from my room. Overall great value. Also, a sweet pub downstairs and you can’t hear anything from the room.

Convenient hotel
Not easy to meet the reception, even don't have chance to ask for the wifi password and a hair dryer. Staff of the bar attached are helpful for luggage storage out of check in time. Overall, the hotel situated in a convenient place with reasonable price.

Convenient location in Sydney CBD. Budget pub accomodation as expected but even so, the ensuite bathroom was grimy and smelt mouldy. No soap provided for shower, and no bathmat for the grimy floor tiles, and which, as per the notice on the bathroom wall, took a full 10 minutes on full throttle before any hot water came through.
