What an amazing place! For being an old hotel it was extremely well taken care of and kept up. We quite enjoyed the bar and people there that weekend. Walked across the street to the Holiday Rave outing!! Such a beautiful place!

Weekend Getaway
I always enjoy staying at the Ambassador. Friday night I enjoyed buffalo wings from the Envoy (bar). I had a restful sleep on the comfortable bed. In the morning I used the Keuriig machine to make a couple of cups of coffee, which I drank in the room. After carrying my luggage to the car, I checked out, but I wasn't done. I had a scrumptious breakfast in the Cafe and another cup of coffee. And of course, I finished with a mimosa in the bar. A wonderful stay.

The hotel is excellent. Well kept, quaint throwback in time. All services were great except for shuttle service. We took the shuttle downtown for a college graduation ceremony. The shuttle driver gave us a phone number and said to call him when we were ready to come back to the hotel. When we tried to call him, it immediately went in to voice mail and stated that his voicemail box was full. So we had to take an Uber back to the hotel.

Great service, comfortable and beautiful hotel
The hotel was beautiful and our room was large compared to most hotels. The staff was exceptional and I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a place more welcoming and friendly. Our waitress at the restaurant was outstanding and everyone was attentive throughout the hotel. The surrounding area was a little sketchy and we were approached by panhandlers and had an encounter someone struggling with mental illness but would definitely stay again if I was attending an event at The Rave.
