Camel back water park was horrible it was super small not much to do expensive for no reason but the food was okay and arcade was a little fun, just expensive as well . By 11pm they shut off the lights in the hallways like it’s a prison .

Check your resort charges
The stay was ok. I was charged for my stay 4 different times totaling over 4 figures for a two day stay. Was also charged for a breakfast that someone charged to our room which was refunded after finding out I was charged. Only one of the stay charges has been resolved to this point. Still waiting to see if the other bogus charges get taken off my card. Was told this was due to a system change over. These extra charges have caused me nothing but anxiety and ruined my entire trip. I will NEVER return to this resort.

First the hotel was nice. But we had a 2 hour wait to check in after the 4pm check in time. And no compensation for that time we paid for the room. No excuse. I dont care the hotel was fully booked. Not my problem. Also too many fees for this and that on top of my room fee. Too many people and too much noise!

Overall great!
After reading reviews I was nervous about how our trip was going to go. We had 2 eleferly people, my husband and I, my 3 year old daughter and 2 dogs. This was a fantastic place to stay, especially with your pets. The fees are a little extreme for the pets but i appreciate that it was clean. We went right after labor day and it was absolutelt DEAD. This was our intentions and it worked! Everything was still open and we basically had the place to ourselfs. The mountain cousters were a 20/10. We all wanted to do it back to back. I booked this through camelback but later saw there was a groupon so i recommend checking there bur even at full price it was well worth it! My biggest and really only complaint (besides the OUTRAGEOUSLY priced souvenier shop) was the distance to walk from our room to anything else. My father has a hard time walking and it was incredibly hard on him. I have an active job and found myself completely exhausted by the distance from your room to the resturaunts, shops, or waterpark. Also with having (2) dogs we had to take many trips outside and it was very far to even the elevators. Great wolf lodge has a much much better layout with everything centrally located but not much they can do about it now. After staying at camelback and staying at tgwl earlier this year, i would say both great options but camelback is better for older kids or adult trips.
