Room better than expected except there was no laundry anymore despite being advertised and the free Breakfast and WiFi are over-priced so I passed .
I would stay there again.

Worst place I have stayed
Was told via phone call a deposit wasn’t required, upon check in they required a 100 dollar deposit. The room door is plastered. The door had to be slammed shut and yanked to properly close. I was threatened by the office staff about loosing my deposit when I attempted to take the continental breakfast out of the lobby. The front office staff was extremely rude. I had to go to a gas station to get something to drink because their vending machines would not dispense. One of the front office staff threw a lite cigarette into the stair well when he was done smoking.

So - So
It was acceptable. Part of the coffee pot was missing, which I had to pick up from the office in order to use the machine. The glass tray was missing from the microwave, and was finally replaced 4 days after check in after several requests. I could not use the microwave regardless due to the strong smell coming from the microwave stinking up anything heated up. The room phone also did not work for several days and took a few requests to fix. Staff was nice and room was decent.

This is definitely not a safe place for kids and if you happen to find yourself broke down 24 miles out. Please do yourself a favor and find yourself a much safer hotel for kids across town. Absolutely incredible staff. Honestly, we are so naive that our car broke down and we took the first hotel that had kind of the best reviews. And being stuck for a couple days sucked but it wasn't overly awful. We did find a much safer hotel across town for our journey. But we definitely will add this to our memories to say the least. This is not a place for somebody in recovery. This is not a place for somebody to bring children. And if your children are not educated in homelessness, this is not where you want to take them. Thankfully my children do understand and also we help with collecting our toiletries and handing them out to the residence that happened to live there. Enjoying breakfast with them was probably the highlight of our day because we as a family are not in the situation that they are but we sat there and all ate as one and none of us looked at each other as any different. The front desk staff was really awesome. There's a gentleman there. I didn't quite catch his name, but he was so helpful and I thank him. And thank you for all the recommendations for help for local car repairs. The maintenance okay helped us get our battery out of our car which was way out of his job description and totally rocked. Always find the good with the bad. God bless
