"Friendly stuff "

"Paje By Night was a great place to stay. Clean room, hot showers, good food, and nice property. Taxi's were available right outside the gate. The staff were very friendly and kind. Note that it is not directly on the beach. They do have a designated area on the beach with a bar and lounging area, but it is about a 5 minute walk. "

"Me and my girlfriend spent time in Zanzibar to celebrate our birthdays. I found Samawa Living as I looking for a nice Place to stay for the week. Booking our room was straightforward and they even supporting with transportation from the Airport and back, which will cost a fee since it is an hour away. Upon checking we were greeted by the host that evening and shown our beautiful room. Also the food was amazing as well. Please not that this a Muslim country for the most part and the don't eat...

"In general Good quality hotel! The term Boutique hotel is a bit overrated though, for this the buffet food and service at the meals is too average. Rooms are nice and good quality but here and there maintenance is partly lacking. Nice Bungalows in a good area with restaurants and beach nearby. Friendly staff and good management. "

"This was our first experience staying on Pongwe beach. The beach isn't comparable to what one gets at Nungwi or similar. It is quite rocky and the tide stays receeded most of the day. The resort was sparsely occupied and therefore very quiet and peaceful apart from Wednesday night when there was loud music until past 3AM at an adjacent property. The service staff were terrrific and catered for every need of ours without complaint or delay. Upendo, Abdallah, Leila and their teams were excellent...

"From the free return transfers, to the welcome on arrival, to the staff, the food, everything was amazing! All inclusive includes a la carte menu for all meals of the day (not buffet). The staff are the best thing about this place. They were very welcoming and friendly. The free 60 minute massage was amazing. There is entertainment at every dinner. We saw some really good performances with all guests and staff getting involved in singing and dancing. I dont have anything negative to say...

"The Swimming Pool was dirty and inusable. For me who travelled with a 1 year old and 4 year old baby, I found that its positioning, less than 3 meters from the door step of the room was extremely dangerous. This hotel offers bed and breakfast, but the breakfast was awful too. I decided to check out of the property the day after a night. When i asked the hotel to refund me for unused nights, the hotel declined to refund. In short, this place is not ideal for a family. Perhaps it can work for...
