"Unreal stay — a hidden gem in Zhangjiajie!
We had an amazing two-night stay at No.5 Valley Lodge, and Frankie and the team went above and beyond to look after us. They arranged our airport and train station transfers seamlessly, and the complimentary shuttle to the national park entrance was super convenient.
Dinner each night was lovely — simple but tasty — and the lodge itself has an incredible ambience: peaceful, natural, and slightly rustic in the best way. Our room was absolutely sublime, spacious, and beautifully designed. The Wi-Fi was a little slow, but honestly, that only added to the charm — it’s the perfect place to disconnect and unwind.
Frankie speaks excellent English, which made communication effortless. He even helped us plan our route through Zhangjiajie National Park and came to the rescue when we got lost!
It’s not close to the city, but that’s part of what makes it so special — you’re surrounded by nature and tranquility. Highly recommend staying here before the area gets overrun by Western tourists. A truly unforgettable experience!

"Absolutely loved my stay here. Ming and the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Upon arriving Ming got a map out of the park and advised me on how to spend my two days there. The included breakfast was very robust. The views from the pool/room were awesome and it was dead silent. It's just a 10-15 min walk to the park entrance and it's super easy to get a DiDi called to the hotel to take you into town. The hotel also has a restaurant so it's very easy to do dinner there as well.
Can't recommend this place enough :) "
"Breakfast was excellent, there are many fresh varieties of food. Laundy is a plus, staffs are frieldly and helpful.
It will be an excellent hotel to stay except without safe box. "
"Great small boutique hotel. David and the rest of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are beautiful and with state of the art technology. They picked us up from the train station and they also take you to the (east) entrance to the national forest which is only 3 minutes away. They will also arrange all of the tickets. "
"Enjoyed our stay at the Pullman and would highly recommend this property. The staff was extremely helpful at all times and the room was very comfortable. "
"Amazing experience at Celestial Valley. The service from pre arrival, to airport pickup, to our 2 night stay, all the way to the dropoff at the station was incredible, everyone at the hotel was so welcoming and friendly. They helped us with everything via wechat and arranged all park tickets and transportation for everywhere we needed to go. The room and views were spectacular, and looked exactly like the hotels.com photos. We couldn’t have imagined a better stay. John in particular was very helpful as he spoke English, but all the other staff too were always able to step in and support right away. "
