"We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. All staff were friendly & helpful. The dining & lounge areas are very comfortable and they make you want to stay & enjoy them. The location of the hotel is just around the corner from underground stations and Kensington High St and many other attractions. Our hotel room had everything we needed for our stay. It was quiet and well appointed. Would definitely stay again and can recommend it "

"We loved everything about this property. Quirky decor which we loved. Lovely comfy bed and pillows and adorable bathroom. Just loved everything about it. Lovely sitting out on the upstairs terrace drinking a glass of Prosecco watching the world go by below. But what really made it special was the wonderful staff. They were all amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Friendly too. We were made to feel so welcome. Thankyou Pilgrm. We will be back. "

"Overall a disappointing stay. We booked this hotel on the basis it was very well reviewed and it didn’t live up to our expectations. Communication was good in advance of our stay. Having informed them of our arrival in advance our room wasn’t available to check in to. We were offered a welcome drink during the wait but only after asking how long our room would take to be ready. The room itself was good but let down by the drain smell in our room which required us to keep the bathroom door...

"We had the most wonderful stay at Vertus Edit Canary Wharf. The part of our stay that really made it special was the wonderful staff. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble , we were always greeted with a smile, and a good morning. We stayed in London to go to see Abba Voyage and we were given lots of information and enthusiasm for the show from one of the gentleman members of staff ....thankyou so much !! "My wife and I always enjoy staying at the Ampersand hotel when we visit London. Firstly it’s the warm greeting by Christian at the front desk or Katarina the manager in the morning or her assistant front office manager. They are also welcoming and polite and that makes a difference. The location of the hotel is excellent for all the best attractions and sites of London. It’s a short walk to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens and only a little further to Holland Park. There’s masses of good pubs...

"The hotel is eclectically unique with a stuffed life size lion in the window. We had a petit double room which is exactly what it was. We were greeted by a very welcoming young man called Liam who was helpful and professional. The room was clean and vibrantly decorated. My husband and I stayed here as it is a good location for us to go to the theatre. It also is close to shops, restaurants and museums as well as Hyde Park for a stroll. "Sloane Place.... is in the right place! The location was perfect... two minute walk from the Tube (Circle and District lines) and a bus stop... only a mile's walk to Harrod's, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace- Parliament Square/St. James Park just beyond that. The room itself was not huge but was certainly adequate with TWO comfortable chairs to sit in. The staff was very helpful, and the cleaning service was excellent. "

"Wonderful hotel, except for a few minor issues…the heating system did not provide much heat, the tub drain was slow, and housekeeping was inconsistent. The location is great! Within walking distance of the Natural History Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum, as well as Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park. The South Kensington Underground is across the street, making access to downtown and Paddington or Waterloo stations quite easy. It is a 45-minute train ride from Heathrow using the Heathrow...
