"The location was very good - loved the neighborhood. Kensington Park was just across the street. We walked through the park every day on our way to see the sights. Bathroom sink & faucets could use some maintenance. The bar and dining room were excellent, and the food was exceptionally good. The service staff in both were very attentive and friendly. We would definitely stay here again."

Lovely sitting out on the upstairs terrace drinking a glass of Prosecco watching the world go by below. But what really made it special was the wonderful staff. They were all amazing. "Sloane Place.... is in the right place! The location was perfect... two minute walk from the Tube (Circle and District lines) and a bus stop... only a mile's walk to Harrod's, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace- Parliament Square/St. James Park just beyond that. The room itself was not huge but was certainly adequate with TWO comfortable chairs to sit in. The staff was very helpful, and the cleaning service was excellent. "

"My wife and I always enjoy staying at the Ampersand hotel when we visit London. Firstly it’s the warm greeting by Christian at the front desk or Katarina the manager in the morning or her assistant front office manager. They are also welcoming and polite and that makes a difference. The location of the hotel is excellent for all the best attractions and sites of London. It’s a short walk to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens and only a little further to Holland Park. There’s masses of good pubs...

"Interesting hotel. Room was modern and spacious "loft" feel, and had an all-in-one laundry machine. Location was better than I expected... convenient to the overland train, and easy walking to and around Victoria Park and on the canal path. Never tried the bar or restaurant. Decent pubs and restaurants scattered around nearby. Pool was warm and comfortable, but pretty much always empty except for us. Had a small well-equipped workout room."
