Although the General Manager worked to resolve it after I mentioned it, whoever charged my credit card at the start of the day, before I was even there, miskeyed the amount, and maxed out my credit card... they realized it immediately and sent a credit. and then charged the correct amount. While the initial charge, and the second charge, and a subsequent charge for incidentals were processed quickly, the actual reversal of the charges took 5 days to process... it was my only credit card on me, and created quite a bit of havoc on my trip.
Again, the manager tried to assist but the credit card company wasn't having it. So the little error of mischarging my card really put a clink in my trip. It was unfortunate. They upgraded my room, to a higher floor with a "view" and gave me bonvoy points for the trouble, which was nice.
The hotel itself was clean and fine. Location was a bit challenging. Super close to the bus stops, but walking down the street at all, even in the middle of the day, met me with homeless and druggies.
The "view" from the hotel was of the Boston skyline in the WAY background, but the foreground was a half-completed/renovated park with construction materials and equipment all over it.
I came back to Boston 10 days later to fly out, and stayed at a different property.
