Wir sind vor 20 Jahren schon einmal im Mühl gewesen und es war wirklich super. Das Hotel hat seitdem nichts von seinem Charme verloren und ich muss sagen, es ist immer noch eine super Unterkunft. Wir hatten dieses mal wieder eine Suite gebucht und alleine die Großzügigkeit verdient 5 Sterne. Es war supersauber und in einem wirklich guten Zustand. Der Wellnessbereich ist top, die Zimmer sehr gut, das Restaurant arbeitet auf höchstem Niveau (großes Lob!!), das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet. Das Personal ist freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Also auch beim Service nichts zu meckern. Ein kleines Manko, es fehlte so ein bisschen diese familiäre Atmosphäre die so ein Familienhotel ausmacht. Es war hintergründig ein wenig zu spüren, dass man zwar alle Gästewünsche sofort und zur vollsten Zufriedenheit erfüllen möchte (was auch stets passiert ist, vielen Dank!) aber das ein wenig Zeitdruck dahintersteht (schnell weiter). Ich schiebe das mal auf den Personalmangel im Gastgewerbe. Fazit: Eine absolute Empfehlung und 5 Sterne! Das Hotel hat jedenfalls Stammgastpotential auf höchstem Niveau.

Hotel top, Schwimmbad top, Frühstück top. Leider Abzug für die Zimmerreinigung. Zimmerservice und Handtuchwechsel gibt es nur nach 3 Tagen. Bei unserem 6-tägigen Aufenthalt hatten wir genau eine Zimmerreinigung. Es hat sich mehr wie eine Ferienwohnung angefühlt. Keine Auslage von trockenen Handtüchern für den Wellness-Bereich, so dass wir immer mit den nassen Handtüchern vom Vortag ins Schwimmbad mussten. Angeblich sind die Corona-Verordnungen daran schuld. Ich weiß nicht wie die Verordnung in Niedersachsen ist, aber in einem anderen Bundesland in einem vergleichbaren 4* Hotel habe ich besseren Service erlebt. Man kann nicht den vollen Zimmerpreis verlangen und dann nur ein drittel des üblichen Service liefern. Dann muss der Zimmerpreis an die Leistung angepasst werden.
