Helpful staff
We were given a nice welcome and had a comfortable room with sitting area. The location was good as it was close to the beaches & a few bars. Note that you need to bring soap, etc. Dinner & breakfast were served in the courtyard at the rear of the main building & food was plentiful & good. Unfortunately we only stayed overnight because shortly after arriving, we were told by the staff that the President had announced that all visitors to the country had to leave Cuba due to coronavirus. Our thanks to the staff for keeping us informed & being helpful – it was appreciated.

Awesome place and Jimmy is a star!
We stayed in the area to dive, learn about the historical elements and visit the swamp. The Hostal was great, and Jimmy was amazing. He was so friendly, engaging, professional, personable, helpful and general delight - thank you so much!! The room was clean, spacious and great, and the food was brilliant. Thank you and I would highly recommend this Casa/Hostal.

Wonderful casa
Hostal Luis was a great place to say whilst visiting & exploring Playa Giron. The staff (Nelson and Jimmy) speak perfect English and are very friendly & helpful. The room was excellent, very spacious & clean. The breakfast was also very good - lots of fresh juice, fruits, bread and eggs, all for 5CUC per person. Would highly recommend staying here when visiting Playa Giron

Très bien !
Nous n’avons pas été convaincus par la destination (la plage n’est pas très belle). Mais pour ceux qui font de la plongée il parait que c’est chouette. Par contre nous Recommandons vivement la casa Luis. Très bon accueil, la chambre était très propre et très bon repas et petit déjeuner. Nous avons été chouchoutés. Rien à redire c’était très bien
