Avoid if you have a car
I'll start with the pros: This hotel is centrally located, and the staff are nice and go out of their way to try and accommodate guests. They are really the main reason I ended up giving the hotel 3 stars.
However, the hotel is located in the middle of a multi-year infrastructure project that, through no fault of their own, makes it an impossible stay for anybody with a car. Virtually all the streets around the hotel are blocked off, and Google Maps isn't updated so you'll constantly find yourself making impossibly long detours trying to get to a parking lot.
Which parking lot, you ask? Not the hotel's because it doesn't have one. Also, not the one a couple of blocks away that the hotel directs you to, because it is ALWAYS at capacity and you simply won't be able to use it. I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and wasn't able to use that parking lot a single time. Therefore, the only options are: Park at the Tel Aviv Port, a 12 minute walk from the hotel, or park at Dizengoff 221, a 4 minute walk from the hotel but also a NIS 250 overnight charge to park ($70).
Long story short, this hotel simply can't be considered as an option for anybody with a car, and I wish they had told me that upfront rather than continuing to tell me that the lot next to the hotel will be free "tomorrow", "on weekdays", etc. It wasn't and it isn't, period.
